Then at the show the suitcases become the display for the photos as well.

You inspire me. I have been accumulating old suitcases in which to store fabrics. Will try kitty litter tonight.

I have several old suitcases and trunks too! Trunks are full of magazines I just can't get rid of. One of my smaller suitcases I keep new cards in that I stock up on when I can't pass on a cute card. Another is full of dog toys again that I buy at a good price because she's so destructive ugh!! A couple of the others I use as Decor leave open with quilts and pillows and such, Grandma's doilies. Okay I just picked up a suitcase from the garbage day before yesterday and it is sitting out on the deck sunning! I think I will try the cat litter trick. I did pick it up because I thought it would be a cute cat bed since I have three cats. I would love to collect more but I'm running out of room lol Thank you nice to know I'm not alone LOL

I store craft magazines and old photos in them.

I have some of those. Use them in my bathroom to remove moisture from sweaty toilet and showers. Didn't know you used them as deodorizer, I that bathroom never has bad odors.
