Might I suggest preparing the window frame for hanging before attaching heavy glass to window.

What is the correct amount of glue & placement on the gem.
I press down hard on the gem so how come the glue is not spreading out on the back of the gem?
Thank you

Are the dishes you use a certain depth? It looks uniform and I think you have the dishes showing through the glass art window where it is glued and the depth of the dishes sitting against the window.

I ran across this a few days ago and WOW! I cannot wait to make one for myself. I have everything I need and I am so excited! I want to make one for my Mom for Christmas too. It looks easy enough which is right up my alley. Haha! Wish me luck! Thanks for sharing.

I love the way cut glass looks when light shines through it. My curtain rod is not sturdy enough to hang something so heavy. Have you ever screwed an eye-screw into a wall anchor? That's how I'd have to do it but I admit I'm a little apprehensive! Thank you!

What a fun, creative idea! Thanks for sharing!
